Elementary School

The primary program at the International American School of Cancun serves students in grades 1–6 with a bilingual and multicultural curriculum.

 

The program focuses on foundational academics, technology integration, and 21st-century skills while students engage in a balanced daily schedule of classes, activities, and extracurriculars that support intellectual, social, and cultural development. IAS meets both Mexican and U.S. educational curriculum standards, giving students instruction in English and Spanish roughly equally. 

 

Primary students articipate in school events and celebrations and have access to a variety of afterschool activities that enrich learning and community involvement throughout the year.
